Our Policies

Privacy Policy:

Carole Frances Interior Design is committed to protecting your privacy.  We define “personal information” as information that is unique to you and may include your phone number, name, e-mail address, physical and shipping address, and credit card information.  We do not collect any other personal information about you through this website unless you choose to provide it voluntarily.  If you present us with personal information we will only use it for the purpose of processing your order and getting your products delivered to you.  Carole Frances Interior Design does not collect any information about your computer hardware and software.  It is possible that we will use your personal information to inform you of other products or services available.  We will not sell, license, transmit or disclose your personal information to any third party except for delivery or if it is needed to fulfill your order, unless required by law.  Third party delivery service is only provided with enough information to complete that task.


Shipping Policy:

Most of our products will be shipped through UPS unless otherwise stated.  In said situations, if an e-mail is provided, a tracking number will be presented (as soon as it is made available) so that you will be able to check up on the status of your order and determine when delivery will occur.  The tracking number will be used through the UPS website and our company will be held to the mentioned third party’s terms and conditions of shipment.  If UPS is not used for delivery you will be notified and told how you will be receiving your order.  Some items may be subject to back order after your purchase has been made.  In the off chance that this happens you will be informed immediately with the details and a course of action will be determined.


Cancellation/Return Policy:

All our products are custom ordered for our valuable customers.  As soon as the order is placed we initiate the sequence of events which ultimately results in you receiving the product of your choice.  In a situation where a cancellation is requested we will contact the manufacturer and make all the necessary arrangements, but even we are not able to cancel any orders which have been already prepared for shipment or actually shipped by the manufacturer.  We will contact you immediately after the manufacturer advises us of whether we can cancel your order or not.  If you would like a cancellation to occur, you will need to call (408) 314-9211 or (925) 984-5786 as soon as possible in order to stop the fulfillment process in time.  If the order has arrived but you do not want to accept it for any reason, you have 10 days after delivery to declare it.  Please call one of the numbers listed above immediately and we will get the process started.  Prior authorization is required to accept the return.  The refund for your order is the full amount of your order less all delivery charges and a 20% restocking fee.  A cancelled item may be subject to a restocking fee as well.  Your refund will be processed once the item is received at the warehouse.  All returned items must be in the original condition and packaging; otherwise additional charges may be applied.  Furthermore, certain products cannot be returned because neither we nor our supplier can take it back.


Damage Policy:

Unfortunately, accidents may occur and products can arrive damaged.  In any case, when you receive your item please inspect it for any damages as you only have 5 business days to declare it and exchange for a new item.  Please call (408) 314-9211 or (925) 984-5786 immediately if any damages have taken place.
